Canadian
Derivatives Clearing Corporation
Canadian Derivatives Clearing Corporation ("CDCC" or the
"Corporation") is the issuer, clearinghouse, and guarantor
of equity, index and interest rate financial derivative contracts
traded on the Montréal Exchange.
Bourse
de Montréal Inc. is the sole holder of the shares of CDCC.
In order to align itself to the change to a for-profit status of
its parent company, CDCC has received regulatory approval of amendments
to its by-laws that allow it to also become a for-profit organization.
The
Corporation is recognized as a self-regulated organization in Quebec
and is under the oversight of the Autorité des marchés financiers (AMF).
Currently, the Board of Directors of CDCC
is composed of an equal balance of independent members and representatives from Senior Mangement of CDCC,
Bourse de Montréal Inc. and the TMX Group.
